Construction protocol: Total RNA was isolated from 5 ml of expoenetial cells treated Ampicillin 100 µg/ml for 15min, using the RNeasy Mini kit (QIAGEN, USA), according to the manufacturer’s instructions. The RNA was subjected to a subtractive Hyb-based rRNA removal process using the MICROBExpress Bacterial mRNA Enrichment Kit (Ambion). RNA sequencing was performed using the Illumina HiSeq to generate paired-end 100-bp reads.
